I am on the verge of embarking on the trip of a lifetime.
For 6 weeks, I will be studying Korean culture and conversation near Inje University in Gimhae, South Korea.
My motivations for joining this spring program are less academically-driven than some of my peers. I want to be able to enjoy my stay in Korea (my mother's "motherland"...does that make it my "grandma-land"?), so I'm taking a part-time student-load of credits and leaving myself time to really live in Korea.
After the program ends, I will be able to spend 2 weeks with family in and around Incheon. Talk about the ultimate language final exam!
Throughout my stay I will post photos chronicling my Asian adventure, and my thoughts on my experiences.
